The Engineering and External Affairs Department is the connection between the District and our valued customers.

• Technical Services - The Technical Services group is responsible for assisting customers with construction related issues, project engineering and management as well as inspections and code enforcement.
• Customer Service - The Customer Service group assists customers with billing and service related issues, leak detection, irrigated area audits and first response to water emergencies such as main breaks and sheared fire hydrants.
• Conservation - The Conservation group administers LVMWD rebate programs. such as the successful Mow - no - Mow program and Rain Barrel Give-a-way.  
• Education and Community Outreach - The Public Affairs team creates external communications and messaging for the District, works closely with local schools to promote water and wastewater education, partners with community organizations across the District to promote water awareness and environmental stewardship and supports and participates in community events throughout the year.
