School teachers in the LVMWD/TWSD service area of grades 5 and above are invited to bring their students on a guided field trip to our potable, wastewater, recycling and composting facilities. Tours are offered at NO COST. Homeschools, Girl/Boy Scouts and other student groups are also welcome.

Students will learn where their drinking water comes from, how it’s delivered to their tap, conservation tips, and what happens to their wastewater once it disappears down the drain.

Our tours can be tailored to fit lesson plans and include elements of science, social studies and community issues.

Tours are offered at NO COST to schools within the LVMWD service area.
