Irrigation Efficiency Retrofit Program
August 2024 Program Update
Due to popularity and limited funds, new applicants as of August 28, 2024, may be deferred to a waitlist for irrigation retrofit installations.
LVMWD is proud to announce the relaunch of the Irrigation Efficiency Retrofit Program (IERP), now featuring additional benefits.
Please note: Those who were placed on the waitlist during the pilot program will have priority for installation appointments. New IERP customers, please read the instructions below to apply!
Why should customers take advantage of the survey and irrigation retrofit program?
Do your sprinklers spray onto the sidewalk? Does excess water flow off of your landscape? Are you unsure how much to water or when? LVMWD can help!
The United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) estimates that inefficient irrigation systems are responsible for up to 25,000 gallons of water wasted annually per household. The Irrigation Efficiency Retrofit Program is designed to help customers claim that water back with modern and efficient irrigation system upgrades to keep the water where it is supposed to be, on your landscape.
LVMWD is offering our customers a unique opportunity to have a certified irrigation professional examine and retrofit their existing irrigation system to maximize efficiency.
