Thank you for your interest in Recycled Water Fill Station Training. This course is meant to teach customers the benefits and responsibilities associated with using recycled water and is required by the California Department of Drinking Water before customers can use the Recycled Water Fill Stations.
Customers are now able to complete their RWFS training on-line. Please follow the below steps to get access to the RWFS Training course.
- Before you take the course, please complete the application found here. Please submit your competed user agreement to receive a link for this class. The completed application can be turned in at LVMWD headquarters or emailed to Jessica Loza at jloza@lvmwd.com
- Customers who submit an application and are a customer of LVMWD or TWSD will be sent an email to enroll in the on-line RWFS training course. This course contains a video course that covers safe and approved handling of recycled water, tips and tricks on how to best take advantage of recycled water, and details on picking up from the Rancho Las Virgenes Composting Facility with a short quiz that is required to be completed.
- Upon completion of the required Recycled Water Fill Station training and User Agreement, each participant will be issued an "approved user" ID card that can be picked up on Saturday from the attendant at the RWFS. This card MUST then be presented each time recycled water is picked up at the Fill Station. To ensure that your card is available on Saturday, the course must be completed by Thursdays at 12:00 pm in order for staff to have a card ready.
Upon completion of the required Recycled Water Fill Station training and paperwork, each participant will be issued an "approved user" ID card. This card MUST be presented each time recycled water is picked up at the Fill Station.
Participants must also bring their own sealable container(s). "Recycled Water" labels will be provided for the container(s). Up to 300 gallons of water may be picked up on a single visit.
