Homes along Long Valley Road are now being served by a temporary water supply “high line” and the old section of the water main has been shut off and drained. Work has started on excavating the new water main trench. The contractor will then bore under driveways to avoid digging up entrances to homes. It is expected that the pipeline installation will begin sometime this week.

Temporary Service Interruption –
On Thursday May 17, there will be a temporary shutdown of water service to customers within the construction zone in order to connect their homes to a new, temporary water line.
Customers should expect to be without water for several hours; be sure to store adequate supplies for drinking, cooking and for animals.
After service is restored, it will be normal to experience brief spurts of air from water lines.
