Spring 2023 is in bloom and we are excited about the events we are participating in throughout our communities in the coming months, as well as hosting ourselves. See where we will be and what we have on tap (pun intended) on the calendar list below.

Healthy Garden Design

Lecture and Lab by Douglas Kent

Outdoor water use is the largest single expense for most customers. Plan to attend one of our free classes that will show you how to conserve water while enjoying an attractive landscape that compliments your home.

Each class requires a separate registration. Space is limited; call 818-251-2200 to reserve a place. A complimentary light supper will be served at each session.

Healthy Garden Design
This class is presented by noted landscape designer and author Douglas Kent will help you through the design process. Participants will leave with a roughly sketched design that considers:

  • your functional and aesthetic needs
  • plant selection for beauty and function
  • plant placement for passive energy savings
  • strategies for utilizing rainfall runoff from hard surfaces
  • efficient irrigation system components and design
