Virtual Landscape Classes 

LVMWD customers are invited to attend Green Garden Group’s (G3) online classes. Registration is FREE for LVMWD customers! Weekly topics include garden design, turf removal, rainwater capture, and irrigation basics.

In-Person Workshops

LVMWD’s workshop series is offered twice per year, in the spring and fall, and pulls in industry experts as instructors. The workshops featured aim to provide property owners with the knowledge and resources required to take on a variety of projects including landscape transformation and  maintain a sustainable, California-friendly garden.

Introduction to Sustainable Landscaping

Lecture by G3, Green Gardens Group

Outdoor water use is the largest single expense for most customers. Plan to attend one of our free classes that will show you how to conserve water while enjoying an attractive landscape that compliments your home.

Each class requires a separate registration. Space is limited; call 818-251-2200 to reserve a place. A complimentary light supper will be served at each session.

Introducation to Sustainable Landscaping
This class is presented by noted leaders in sustainable landscape design and education, the Green Gardens Group (G3), will teach you how to build healthy soils and use climate appropriate plants with efficient irrigation strategies to produce the beautiful, low maintenance, environmentally friendly landscape you dream of. Leave with a better understanding of our climate zone and our connection to our watershed, along with strategies and techniques for capturing and retaining rainwater to eliminate runoff and reduce landscape water use.
