Are you curious about where your drinking water comes from? What happens to your wastewater after it disappears down the drain? Want to know more about the water district? Get answers to these questions and more during one of our FREE quarterly tours.
Learn about the journey your drinking water takes, watershed stewardship, the process of wastewater reclamation, water conservation, and the composting process. Tours include a chance to meet other residents, a presentation on current issues facing the district, visits to our facilities, and a question and answer period while you enjoy a light lunch.
Each tour begins at 8:45 a.m. and lasts until about 1 p.m. (approximately 4.25 hours). Moderate walking and stairs are to be expected, along with boarding and exiting a school bus. Children must be 10 or older and accompanied by a responsible adult.
