The General Manager is appointed by the Board of Directors to serve as the chief executive officer of the District, providing professional leadership and the implementation of District policies. Duties of the General Manager include acting on direction from the Board, providing recommendations and information to the Board, ensuring that District services fulfill the needs of the customer base, the utilization of staff to accomplish the District’s missions, sharing information with the Board and residents of the District, providing input on state and federal issues that may affect the District, responsibility for the District’s finances including budgets, reporting and monitoring the uses of funds, and compliance with all state and federal regulations that apply to the District’s operations.
